OSWEGO – The Oswego County Legislature’s Human Services Committee recognized Keeghan McSweeney with the 2017 “Paul Santore Award for Outstanding Youth.”
McSweeney was involved with various Oswego City-County Youth Bureau programs from seventh grade through his high school graduation in 2015.
For three summers, he worked as a staff member at Camp Hollis and, while attending Cazenovia College, he became a resident assistant, president of the Cazenovia Campus Activity Board and a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a national community service fraternity.
McSweeney also serves as a volunteer firefighter with the Scriba Volunteer Fire Department.
A dedicated youth leader and citizen, McSweeney is a shining example of caring, commitment and dedication.
