BREWERTON, NY – The Brewerton Elementary School’s kindergarten orientation was a huge success.

Kindergarteners joined their peers and teachers in classrooms, where they listened to stories, made new friends, learned classroom and hallway expectations and became familiar with their new learning environment.
Parents and guardians remained in the gymnasium where they received important school information.
A bus was available outside for students to practice buckling up as teachers discussed bus safety.

The orientation concluded with a snack and coloring activity for the children in the cafeteria.
The Central Square School District held kindergarten orientation events in each elementary building prior to the start of the 2016-2017 school year.
