‘Living Stations’ Set March 27 At Fulton Education Center

Continuing the 28-year tradition, “Living Stations” will be presented at 7 p.m. March 27 in the Fulton Education Center Auditorium.

Admission is free.

This dramatization of “The Way of the Cross” with music, live action, and reflective narrative, is the traditional Catholic prayer of Jesus’ passion as it portrays the final hours leading to his crucifixion, said Jamie Ruzekowicz, coordinator.

David Tallents, 17, a junior at G. Ray Bodley High School (GRB) will portray Jesus and Sarah Tallents, 15, a sophomore at GRB, will portray Mary in the 2015 production of Living Stations, which will be presented at 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 27 in the Fulton Education Center Auditorium. Admission is free. In the “Living Stations” local youth take on the roles of major characters in the traditional 14 scenes of the Stations of the Cross, Ruzekowicz said.

Each scene features a series of readings and meditations and is a visual reminder of Christ’s suffering.

The choir, which accompanies the production, is under the direction of Dolores Walrath.
