BEREA, OHIO – Michael Mankiewicz of Fulton was among more than 400 first-year students welcomed to the Baldwin Wallace University campus this fall who claimed $6.1 million in merit scholarships.
Mankiewicz, a graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School majoring in acting, earned a $12,000 Deans Scholarship based on outstanding academic achievements in high school.
BW’s merit scholarships are awarded to full-time students and are renewable up to four years with good academic and social standing.
BW grants a wide range of scholarships to current students each year.
Including merit and need-based scholarships, BW students received more than $45 million in financial support from the University for the 2017-2018 academic year.
Baldwin Wallace University, founded in 1845, was one of the first colleges to admit students without regard to race or gender.
