OCO, Cancer Services Program – Breast Health Program Thanks Salons

OSWEGO, NY – Oswego County Opportunities’ Cancer Services Program Partnership (CSPP) would like to publicly thank each and every salon that joined our fight against breast cancer throughout the month of October.

Salons throughout Oswego County were asked to join the CSPP of Oswego County/Breast Health Program and help spread the word about services offered through the program including clinical breast exams, mammograms, pap/pelvic exams and colorectal cancer screenings for men and woman who are uninsured/underinsured and 40 years of age and older.

The following salons agreed to promote the Cancer Services Program/Breast Health Program by wearing aprons that said “Uninsured?  Ask me how to get free cancer screenings.”

The salons also posted our program flyers in their work areas and distributed program cards and give-a-ways to their clients which displayed CSPP’s contact information on them.

Thank you for demonstrating your true passion for your clients by educating them on the importance of receiving their annual cancer screenings and the availability of these services if they are uninsured.
