Oswego Industries Employees Get Their Memorial Day Salute Parade Float Ready

Program participants at Oswego Industries, Inc. are busy preparing this year’s float for the Fulton Memorial Day Salute parade, to be held starting at 10am on Saturday, May 29. Oswego Industries, Inc. is a Community Rehabilitation Program offering services to individuals with disabilities in Oswego County, such as day habilitation and pre-vocational training.

The Memorial Day float is a popular project every year, and working on it exercises participants’ teamwork, fine motor skills, and creativity. This year’s float features popular landmarks such as the Washington Monument, Niagara Falls, Mount Rushmore, and others.

Oswego Industries, Inc. has been a frequent winner of the First Place prize in the parade float competition.
