Oswego Industries, Inc. recently hosted its annual Picnic for employees and program participants at its main facility in Fulton, NY. Nearly 400 people enjoyed a cookout lunch, softball, games and contests, dancing, a visit from several local racers with their cars, facepainting, movies, and horseback rides throughout the afternoon. The Picnic was made possible by donations from local businesses, including Sound Junction DJ Service (celebrating 25 years), Oswego Speedway, PepsiCo., and Renzi Foodservice. A big highlight of the picnic was the chance for attendees to meet members of many local race teams, including Michael Bruce, Rob Bruce, Robert Pullen, Brandon Carvey, and Jim Southard, all of whom volunteered their time meeting the program participants, signing autographs, and showing them the racecars. Oswego Industries, Inc. is a nonprofit Community Rehabilitation Program which has been providing programs and services to individuals with disabilities in the county since 1968.
