Pollard Joins Harborfest Staff

OSWEGO, NY – Fred Pollard has been named Sponsorship/Membership Manager for Oswego Harborfest.

Pollard will oversee all aspects of sponsorships, memberships and fundraising for Harborfest.

“We are excited to bring a person with the experience and background we were looking for to fill this very important role at Harborfest,” said Harborfest Executive Director Tom Van Schaack. “He’s going to be a tremendous asset to not only Harborfest but our community.”

Pollard was most recently the deputy development director for the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse as well as a business development associate for Staples and account manager for Clear Channel Communications.

“I look forward to connecting with the Oswego community and servicing their needs and making sure that their expectations of Harborfest are not just met but exceeded,” said Pollard. “Oswego has so much to offer and I can not wait for the opportunity to introduce the rest of central New York to Oswego’s people and its proud, rich heritage.”

Pollard is a 1996 graduate of Manlius Pebble Hill Prep School in Dewitt and earned a business administration degree with a concentration in management and minor in foreign policy from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Ga.
