PULASKI – The Pulaski Historical Society will join in the activities celebrating the Salmon River Festival.
The museum will have an open house and will be open for free tours.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 7.
Special fishing-themed and Salmon River exhibits will be featured in the carriage house and the museum.
Refreshments will be available in the museum.
Also, on Oct. 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., you are invited to bring your lunch (or pick up some take-out at a local eatery) and come join us in the carriage house for our October Brown Bag Lunch.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
Take time to talk with your coworkers and neighbors, and perhaps make new friends.
Coffee, tea or water will be provided.
Also there will be 12-bean soup for sale: $1 a cup or $2 for a bowl.
For the October Lunch, the topic will be “Kallet Theater Memories.”
Former workers from the old theater will gather together to share their memories and tell their stories.
If you worked there as an usher, a ticket taker, at the concession station or in some other capacity, please join the panel!
The Pulaski Historical Society is located at 3428 Maple Ave., across from Mavis Tire/Cole Muffler in the village.
The museum is open in October from from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
Volunteers are also available for free tours or to help with research and questions at the regular work sessions on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
