PULASKI – The Pulaski Historical Society will hold the July Brown Bag Lunch on July 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the South Park.
Bring your lunch to the South Park and learn about the history of the village in one of the places that has been special to people of every generation.
Terry Rossman will give you an overview of how Pulaski came to be a village.
Look around as you listen to the program and imagine how the area looked in the past.
One of the most interesting times was when shanties were set up in the South Park after the fire of 1881.
In case of rain the meeting will be held in the Carriage House at the Pulaski Historical Society, 3428 Maple Ave.
The Pulaski Historical Society is located at 3428 Maple Ave., across from Mavis/Cole Muffler in the village.
The museum is open in July and August on Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
Volunteers are available for free tours or help with research and questions on open hours and at the regular work hours on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
