Oswego – St. Luke Health Services staff recently completed their annual emergency preparation training exercises. Russell Phillips & Associates, Inc., a Rochester, N.Y.-based consulting firm, with expertise in fire and disaster preparation and prevention provided the training in-service.
The instruction curriculum consisted of fire suppression and evacuation techniques, effective disaster response and a review of St. Luke procedures for addressing these emergencies.
“Resident safety, health and comfort remain the most important priorities at St. Luke,” said St. Luke CEO and Administrator Terrence Gorman. “This training covered issues we take very seriously and our residents and their families, I believe, appreciate our continued diligence in this area.”
As part of the instruction, St. Luke staff participated in an exercise involving effective fire suppression techniques.
