POTSDAM, NY – The following local students have been named Presidential Scholars for the fall 2014 semester at Clarkson University:

Isabel Bray of Lacona, N.Y., a sophomore majoring in physics.
Kyle Connelly of Bernhards Bay, N.Y., a junior majoring in computer science and mathematics.
Danielle Faivus of Oswego, N.Y., a senior majoring in biology and psychology.
Brian Garrett of Phoenix, N.Y., a junior majoring in software engineering.
Jacqueline Novak of Pulaski, N.Y., a freshman majoring in environmental engineering.
Daniel Wahl of Fulton, N.Y., a junior majoring in chemical engineering.
