OSWEGO – Students from the SUNY Oswego Adopt-A-Grandparent Program have been visiting residents at St. Luke Health Services regularly to work on various projects together and to enjoy each other’s company.

The Adopt-A-Grandparent Program is an important and rewarding inter-generational experience for St. Luke residents and students alike.
“We are fortunate to have such a dedicated bunch of students from the college who come and interact with our residents,” said Donna Rose, director of Activities and St. Luke. “Our residents get a lot out of the program and if you are able to watch them together, so do the students. This is a great way to keep our folks connected with their community and a wonderful service opportunity for students from SUNY Oswego to learn from our seniors.”
