OSWEGO, NY – Some of Oswego County’s finest eateries will serve up some of their favorite menu items at the Taste of Oswego, sponsored by Alliance Bank.
Scheduled for Aug. 29, the Taste Of Oswego offers an afternoon of great food, live music and fun for the whole family.
“We are happy to be bringing this great event back this year. Taste of Oswego, sponsored by Alliance Bank, offers the community a chance to enjoy a wide array of culinary delights and discover some new menu items as well,†said committee member and events coordinator for the chamber Danielle Hayden.
A real treat for the taste buds, the Taste of Oswego features $1 samples, as well as other menu items, from more than a dozen food vendors.
There will also be plenty of great music as Jimmy D & the Jury will perform from noon to 2:30 p.m. followed by one of Central New York’s favorites, The Billionaires from 3 to 6 p.m.
There will also be a special “Power for Kids†tent for the children.
Sponsored by Novelis, NRG, Entergy, and Constellation, the “Power for Kids†tent it is an excellent attraction that both the children and their parents appreciate as it features a variety of children’s activities including air hops, sno-cones and much more.
Taste of Oswego will be held noon to 6 p.m. on East Linear Park in downtown Oswego behind the Econolodge.
Admission is free, with the vendors offering $1 samples as well other menu items.
