FULTON – Continuing the 29-year tradition, “The Living Stations” will be presented at 7 p.m., March 18 in the Fulton Education Center auditorium.
Admission is free.
This dramatization of “The Way of the Cross” with music, live action, and reflective narrative, is the traditional Catholic prayer of Jesus’ passion as it portrays the final hours leading to His crucifixion, said Jamie Ruzekowicz, coordinator.
In the “Living Stations” local youth take on the roles of major characters in the traditional 14 scenes of the Stations of the Cross, Ruzekowicz said.
Each scene features a series of readings and meditations and is a visual reminder of Christ’s suffering. Garet Roik, 17, a senior at G. Ray Bodley High School will portray Jesus and Liz Roik, 15, a sophomore at GRB, will portray Mary.
The choir, which accompanies the production, is under the direction of Dolores Walrath.
