Murder On Nile At Faust This Weekend

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego High School Drama Club will be presenting Agatha Christies “Murder on the Nile” on Nov. 19 and 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Faust Theatre for the Performing Arts.

Based on the novel “Death on the Nile,” the play tells the story of a happy young couple embarking on a cruise down the Nile as a honeymoon trip.

The fly in the ointment of their happiness, however, is the appearance of the young wife’s best friend who was formerly engaged to the new husband.

There are several other passengers with secrets of their own, so it is no surprise when gunshots erupt in the dark of an Egyptian night and someone lies dead.

The cast features; Seamus Darrow, Nick Williams, Nick Cocks, Hailey Thompson, Camilla Graham, Emily Hurlbutt, Samantha Davis, Marcus Wolf, Sarah Lamb, Teo Patty, and Norman Berlin III.

The play is directed by Eve Phillips, ably assisted by Angella Bandla and Raquelle Moreau.

Student designers are Ashleigh Moon, Jane Coty, Emily Fleischman, Patty Talamo, Roxanne Scoville and Tim Haresign.

Stage managers are Gabrielle Boni, Kiersten Neacosia and Shelby Schulze.

General admission seating is $5 for students with ID, $6 for seniors, and $8 for adults, with plenty of tickets available at the door.
