FAIR HAVEN, NY – Be Scared. Be very scared. Yes. Because they are back, the witches of Fair Haven.
The Fair Haven Chamber of Commerce’s All Hallow’s Eve and Fantasy Witches Parade will once again hit Main Street Fair Haven on October 26 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Ghosts, goblins, witches and cauldron brew will be in abundance at the village park.
The Fantasy Witches Parade, now in its 15th year, will begin at noon.
Witches, warlocks, goblins and ghoulies are encouraged to line up at 11:45 a.m. at the corner of South Fancher and Main.
In addition to the annual Fantasy Witches Parade, the day will include an arts and artisan show in the park, traditional children’s games such as apple dunking, corn in the ring and storytelling.
Visitors are encouraged to bring canned goods and non-perishables for the Community Food Bank.
Members of the Fair Haven Community Church will be there with collection boxes for donations.
Remember that a $1 donation will translate into $4 worth of food for local families in need of food.
New this year, the Community Church will be serving a full breakfast from 8:30 – 10 a.m at the church.
The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Department will offer Operation Safe Child at the Fire Hall from 11 a.m. 3 p.m. and the Legion will be offering hamburgers and hot dogs at the park.
The day will come to spine-chilling end with the traditional Halloween party at Little Sodus Inn.
Come join the tradition in Fair Haven and take the opportunity to visit local shops and businesses.
