Fulton, NY – Oswego Industries, Inc. has announced the hiring of Bob Kiesinger as Commercial Business Development Associate, Tiffani Loomis as Registered Nurse and Alissa Viscome as Director of Services for the nonprofit organization.
In his new position, Kiesinger will be responsible for planning and coordinating activities to determine the demand for products and services to be offered as well as identifying potential customers and competitors, creating marketing, development and distribution strategies to promote interest in commercial products or services for the Agency.
Kiesinger comes to Oswego Industries, Inc. with managerial experience from Empire Church Supply, Malhame Vestments and TBO staffing. He received his ABA from Central City Business Institute and is currently residing in Fulton with his wife Jeanne and two children.
In her new position, Loomis will be responsible for oversight of the LPN nursing staff, supervision and training of Personal Care Attendants, maintaining all medical records for compliance with regulations, and ensuring that direct care employees have completed required trainings. She will also be a member of the Safety Committee, will participate in the intake process for new program participants and various other duties.
Loomis comes to Oswego Industries, Inc. with prior experience from Oswego Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital. She received her AAS in Nursing and her BS in Education (Science). She is also working as a paramedic for McFee ambulance and NOCA ambulance. Loomis is currently residing in Volney with her husband Wes and three children.
In her new position, Viscome will be responsible for directing, administering and managing programs, services and training aspects of the Agency in accordance with policies and pertinent laws, rules and regulations. Other duties include administrative oversight of OPWDD’s guidelines, monitoring program costs and collaborating with other directors for coordination of programming for participants served.
Viscome comes to Oswego Industries, Inc. from AIDS Community Resources where she most recently served as the Director of Support Services in which she provided oversight to Medicaid Targeted Case Management, Transportation, Housing, Health Education Risk Reduction and Community Health programs.
Other related experience includes her role as Director of Youth Empowerment Program and development and oversight of support and health programs. She received her BA in Sociology from Wells College and MA in Management from Keuka College and currently lives in Fulton with her husband, Josh, and her two children.
Oswego Industries, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit Community Rehabilitation Program which has been providing programs and services to adults with disabilities since 1968.
Services include pre-vocational and vocational training, day habilitation services, and Medicaid Service Coordination. Its mission is to be a partner in the development of comprehensive community services designed to improve the quality of life for all people, with the primary emphasis on those with disabilities, by providing the necessary support programs to enable individuals to grow with dignity and achieve their highest level of independence and self-fulfillment.
The organization was named winner of the Chamber of Commerce Not-For-Profit of the Year Award for 2009.
Its sister agency, ARC of Oswego County, provides services to children and seniors with disabilities: together creating a comprehensive support system for Oswego County residents with disabilities.
