MEXICO – Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County 4-H program will conduct a series of workshops, Learn to Sew, which will teach children ages 8 to 19 how to sew with a sewing machine and also by hand.
The classes will be held from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m. on the following dates Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, February 16 – 18, at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County office at 3288 Main St. in Mexico.
Each day participants will go home with a finished project: a potholder, a pillowcase, and a decorative letter-shaped pillow.
The program fee is $30 per child and covers all sewing supplies, including sewing machines.
Individuals may bring their own sewing machines if they choose.
The registration deadline is February 4.
