Fulton Save-A-Lot Hosts Grand Re-Opening Under New Ownership

FULTON, NY – The Save-A-Lot store located at 364 West First Street in Fulton is hosting a grand re-opening event.

Operating under new ownership, the store has made several changes and the grand re-opening offers many opportunities to take advantage of grocery deals.

Re-opening as a locally owned grocery store by the previous owner of Hannibal’s former long running local grocery store the Village Market IGA, Jim Mirabito along with his wife, Cindy and daughter, Whitney remain dedicated to providing quality products with excellent customer service at affordable prices.

A coupon offering $5 off any $25 purchase can be used throughout the week leading to the official grand re-opening ribbon cutting with savings opportunities every hour.

Saturday, July 8, the Fulton Save-A-Lot will officially be honored under the Mirabito’s ownership with a ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled to commence at 11 a.m.

Throughout the day, customers will be offered the opportunity to receive complimentary products hourly following the store’s itinerary for the day.

The first 100 customers each hour will receive the following complimentary products:

8 a.m. – Six Pack of Sour Creme Donuts
9 a.m. – Head of Dole IceBerg Lettuce
10 a.m. – Two Liter Bottle of Save-A-Lot Soda
11 a.m. – 5lbs. Bag of Hinderwadel’s Salt Potatoes
12 p.m. – 8 Pack Save-A-Lot Hamburger or Hotdog Rolls
1 p.m. – 24 Pack of Save-A-Lot Spring Water

“We look forward to celebrating this new endeavor with you!” the Mirabito family declared in the event’s flyer.

Customers can visit the store to see an updated produce section and an improved meat department with meat cut fresh every day and can still expect to save 40 percent on groceries when compared to competitors with friendly customer service in a clean environment, Whitney Mirabito said.

Having made such changes since taking over ownership on March 31, the Mirabitos say there are more updates to come.

Save-A-Lot is open 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
