Nineteen Fulton Properties Complete Home Improvements Through FBB

Mike & Kathy Fitzpatrick of 414 Kellogg Street recently finished their Block Builder projects.

FULTON, NY – Fulton Block Builders awarded the first $10,000 and the city of Fulton has profited from $31,000 in improvements – by residents – to their properties!

The work of residents in the city is starting to be seen on streets all around Fulton.

What was once only a plan and talk among neighbors is now translating into improvements throughout the city.

Nineteen properties, thus far, have completed their “Street Appeal” and received their Fulton Block Builder checks.

“I would like to thank everyone involved with the Fulton Block Builders (FBB) for all of their hard work and dedication. It is wonderful to drive around the city and see all of the improvements being made” said Tamie Allen an FBB Award recipient.

Another recipient and Block Leader, Kathy Fitzpatrick said, “Thank you for choosing our neighborhood to be part of this project. It has proven to be a wonderful experience. Our neighborhood is looking great, everyone is working so hard on their projects. Really a huge improvement.”

  1. Fulton Block Builders. How do you explain in a sentence or two how one program can change the attitudes of hundreds of individual families from defeat and loss to hope and action.

How do you explain how the vision of one person, Linda Eagan, can become contagious, and open the door for neighbors who may not have spoken in years, acquainted only by a casual wave , to become friends.

And not just two neighbors, but hundreds of neighbors throughout the city, creating the community of Fulton, while rejuvenating and rebuilding the City of Fulton.

  2. Fulton Block Builders improvements will not raise homeowner assessments. It is a win for the residents and the city.
