Parade of Trees Returns to Fulton Dec. 2-13

VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE HOLIDAY DISPLAY – Join the John Wells Pratt House Museum and the Friends of Fulton History for the annual Parade of Trees, Dec. 2 through 13. The exhibition features uniquely and artfully designed holiday trees decorated by local schools, non-profit organizations and businesses. Visitors can vote on their favorite tree during viewing hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. The John Wells Pratt House Museum is located at 177 S. First St., Fulton. OSWEGO COUNTY – Join the Fulton Friends of History for a beautiful display of holiday trees during the Parade of Trees, from Dec. 2 to 13! The festive exhibit is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at the John Wells Pratt House Museum, 177 S. First St., Fulton.

 

Each year, the halls of the Pratt House are decked with trees that are brought in and decorated by participating schools, non-profit organizations and businesses. Those who visit the amazing showcase of trees can vote on their favorite display, and the non-profit winner receives a cash prize.

 

The museum also hosts its annual Holiday Party Open House on Sunday, Dec. 8 from 1:30 to 4 p.m., where the Parade of Trees will be viewable.

 

Visitors may vote for their favorite trees in four categories: adults; youth in grades 5 through 12; children in pre-school through grade 4; and a business category. First-place winners will receive $100, second place wins $75, and third place is awarded $50.

 

This year’s sponsors are Fulton Savings Bank for the first prize awards; Oswego Valley Insurance Agencies for the second prize awards; and Cayuga St. Steakhouse, Edward Jones Oswego and Community Chiropractic/Dr. Nicholson for the third prize awards.
