Suspicious Vehicle Complaint Ends in Drug, Weapon Charges for Phoenix Teen

FULTON – On Sunday (March 20), at approximately 7:23 p.m., State Police in Fulton were dispatched to the William J. Farley Community Park on Chestnut Street in the town of Schroeppel for a complaint of two females acting suspiciously and possibly using drugs in a vehicle in the parking lot.

State Police arrived and located the vehicle parked in the parking lot with two females inside.

Investigation at the scene revealed the 17-year-old passenger had in her possession cocaine, heroin, prescription medications, amphetamine pills, marijuana, a portable scale, and a metal knuckle knife, police said.

The passenger was taken into custody and transported to SP Fulton.

She was charged with four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree, Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree, all class “A” misdemeanors, and two counts of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation.

She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Schroeppel Court at a later date.
