City of Fulton news:

  • The Village of Phoenix Police Department, the United Way of Greater Oswego County, and the Cities of Oswego and Fulton partnered together for the ‘Shop with a Hero’ Program. The program offers marginalized children the opportunity to Christmas shop. See the full story here
  • The Fulton Sunrise Rotary donated gifts to to the annual Davis-Standard’s Christmas program to help local families through the holiday season. See the full story here.
  • Former Upstate New York resident and award-winning singer/songwriter Jared Campbell visited Fulton elementary schools last week, restarting a yearly tradition that had been hampered by the pandemic. See full story here.

City of Oswego news:

  • The former ‘Old City Hall’ restaurant and bar building will begin Phase I renovations this spring; the Oswego Common Council passing a resolution for new owner Ed Alberts to begin repairs in the upcoming months. See full story here.
  • A structure fire on Mitchell Street in the City of Oswego is under investigation. The Oswego Fire Department was alerted of the vacant warehouse fire by Oswego DPW crews, who saw smoke coming from the building. See full story here.
