State Police in Hastings are investigating a criminal mischief that occurred shortly after midnight on Sunday, October 29, at the Pleasant Lawn Cemetery located at 285 State Route 69a in the town of Parish.

The investigation has revealed that a vehicle believed to possibly be a 2002 dodge ram pickup truck struck multiple head stones in the Pleasant Lawn Cemetery and left the scene before police arrived.

It is believed the suspect vehicle may have sustained heavy front end damage and was reported to be tan or gray in color.
