Charles C. Crisafulli, 84, a resident of 38 Bayliss St., Oswego, passed away, Wednesday, October 07, 2009 at St. Luke Health Services.

Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late John and Josephine (Muscalino) Crisafulli.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran, serving in WWII Pacific Theater, Guam and Okinowa.

Mr. Crisafulli retired as a mechanic at Alcan in 1985.

He was a former member of the Oswego Elks Lodge 271 and the Masonic Lodge.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, working in his shop, wine making and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving is his wife of 43 years, Shirley (Clary) Crisafulli of Oswego; two daughters, Roseanne (Tanner) Leto of Oswego and Jody (Mike) Dixon of Northville, N.Y.; six sons, Michael (Patricia) Crisafulli of Oswego; John (Karen) Crisafulli of Oswego; Joseph (Christine) Crisafulli of Oswego; Herb (Maryann) Dixon of Fair Haven, N.Y.; James (Natalie) Crisafulli of Oswego and Scott (Mary Colleen) Crisafulli of Clifton Park, N.Y. two sisters, Mayme (John) Paeno and Mary Marturano. Three brothers, Thomas L. Crisafulli, Dominick Crisafulli and Joseph Crisafulli. 18 grandchildren, 12 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Anthony Crisafulli, James Crisafulli and John Crisafulli; one sister, Barbara Nettles.

Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W.Albany St., Oswego.

Burial will be in All Saints Mausoleum, St. Peters Cemetery, Oswego

Calling Hours will be held 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
