  3. To the Drake family:

My Dad, Dutch Bullard, played for many years with Chuck. I grew up listening to their music, with Dick and Dixie Proctor. They made wonderful music for a long time and it was a big part of our lives.

Our sympathies to all of you.

    -Dave Bullard

  4. To Drakey’s family:
I worked with Chuck at Alcan until he retired, I worked in the truckshop and Chuck was always around getting equipment tuned up or repaired and he always had interesting stories about his lastest idea to start another band or purchase a new car or how many more lights and do-dads he could add. It was allot of fun working with and I miss those times. I have allot of funny stories and memories, I’m sure anyone who knew him could tell too. So sorry to hear of your lose. We’re sure there will be a band called “Chucky Drake and The Veritones” in Heaven.

  5. Barb,
So sorry to hear of your loss. Lots of evenings we spent at the tavern, enjoying Chuck, Nancy and Tim playing…….I’ll let Nancy know. Fay
