Dominic Thomas Sciacca, 19, of Apex, formerly of Fulton, NY, died Saturday, August 19, 2017 at his home in Apex.
Dominic was born April 24, 1998, in Anne Arundle County, Maryland.
He attended G. Ray Bodley High School in Fulton, NY, and Panther Creek High School in Cary, NC.
Dominic was an avid lacrosse and soccer player.
He was a genuine, kind, and compassionate young man with an appetite for adventure and a desire to change the world.
Dominic is survived by his parents, Thomas Joseph Sciacca and Angela Dawn Sciacca (Theodore Hart); sister, Alisia Rose Sciacca; brother, Dante Joseph Sciacca; grandparents; as well as a number of close relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Apex Funeral Home Chapel to celebrate Dominic’s life.
Family and Dominic’s close friends have organized a scholarship in honor of Dominic that will be awarded to a G. Ray Bodley soccer or lacrosse student athlete.
