OSWEGO, NY – Elizabeth A. Taylor, 67, a resident of 3596 County Route 4, died on November 14, 2008, at Crouse Irving Hospital in Syracuse.
Born in North Scriba, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Hazel (Myers) Sawyer and was a graduate of Mexico High School.
She was employed with the Seaway Supply and later retired from Krell Distributors.
Mrs. Taylor enjoyed her time with family and friends.
She was an avid bowler and golfer.
Surviving are three sons, Everett (Christina) Taylor of Mexico, Mark Taylor of Oswego, and Jerry (Missy) Taylor of New Haven; two sisters, Edith Bushhart and Beatrice Parkhurst; three brothers, Harold (Beverly) Sawyer, Robert Sawyer, and Ronald (Pat) Sawyer; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Travis, Kaitlin, Callan, Troy, Colton and Makayla; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Everett Taylor Sr., in 2003; a sister, Madeline McCracken; two brothers, Edwin Sawyer who was killed during World War II and her infant brother Ralph Sawyer.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Dowdle Funeral Home.
Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-7 p.m.
