PHOENIX, NY – Norman T. Bloss, 66, of Hannibal, NY, passed away on Friday Oct. 6, 2017, in Oswego.
He was born to his late parents, Elizabeth (Storen) and Norman H. Bloss on April 11, 1951, in Syracuse, NY.
He was a graduate of Cape Cod, Mass., high school.
Norm worked for Specialized Packaging Co., Baldwinsville, for 15 years, retiring in 2013.
He was an avid sportsman, fishing, and baseball, collector of baseball cards.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 26 years, Shirley (Henderson) Bloss, on Dec. 12, 2012.
Surviving are his daughters, Jennifer Weeks and Gwen Michelle Rook; his mother, Doris Bloss; his brother, Garrette Bloss and sister-in-law, Jean Gardner; several grandchildren; several half-brothers and half-sisters; many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday Oct. 9, at 1 p.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY, with the Rev. Terry Millbyer officiating.
Calling hours are same day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service in the funeral home.
