
OSWEGO – David Charles Vanderhaden,63, passed away on January 27 after a brief illness.
David was born and raised in Oswego, N.Y. to Adrienne (Pettie) Vanderhaden and the late Charles Vanderhaden.
In his younger years, David loved to go fishing and hunting with his father, Charles.
He was also a fan of NASCAR, the New York Yankees, and the Dallas Cowboys
Surviving besides his mother are two sisters, Joan (David) O’Gorman and Kathryn (Larry) Phillips, his daughter, Carrie Meyers, and grandson, Kai, nieces, Sarah (Jeff) VanMarter, Jacqueline(Shawn) Simoneau, Tara Dana, Kelly (Richard) Denny, nephew Ryan (Iris) O’Gorman and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Charles, and great-niece, Desirea O’Gorman.
The family would like to say thank you to the staff at the Iroquois Nursing Home 2nd floor for their exceptional and wonderful care for David in his final days.
Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00-3:00 with a service to follow the hours.
