June M. King, 83

OSWEGO, NY – June M. King, 83, a former resident of 63 E. Fourth St., Oswego, passed away on Wednesday February 15, 2012, at St. Luke Health Services.

Born in Fulton, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Anna (Youngs) Deming and was a graduate of St. Mary’s School and Oswego High School.

She was employed with the Harris Department Store, Argersingers and later retired from the Food Service at the State University of Oswego.

June enjoyed crocheting and used to make wedding cakes.

Surviving are her two sons, Charles T. (Terri) King Jr. of Oswego and David (Margaret) King of Texas; two grandchildren, Carly and MacKenzie King; her longtime companion, Joseph Pecora; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles T. King, in 1961;  two sisters, Cecilia Calverase and Marie Perau; and two brothers, Richard and Donald Deming.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. from St. Paul’s Church.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
