Linda M. ‘Trixie’ Kronenbitter, 76

OSWEGO, NY – Linda M. “Trixie” Kronenbitter, 76, a resident of Oswego, passed away on Wednesday August 5, 2015, at the Crouse Hospital in Syracuse.

Born in Fulton, she was the daughter of Dr. Frank and Dorothy (Bird) Fox.

She was a graduate of the Fulton High School and attended Syracuse University.

Trixie spent 26 years working for the Oswego County Clerk’s Office before her retirement in the mid 1990s.

During her tenure, she was especially proud of her standing as president of the CSEA Union.

She was active locally, sharing her time with the VFW Post 2330 Ladies Auxilary, Women of the Moose Lodge 2157 and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

In her free time, Trixie could be found on the softball diamond, the golf course, or socializing with her friends.

Surviving are her husband, Jim Kronenbitter; daughters, Anne Marie (Frank) Achee of Oswego and Sandra Lynn (Ronald) Sparks of Tullahoma, Tennessee; a son, John (Regina) Aston of Oswego; two grandchildren, Teaghan and John Cody “JC” Aston; and her brother, Frank Fox of Granby.

Friends may call at the Dowdle Funeral Home Saturday from 4-7 p.m, with a service to follow the hours.
