OSWEGO, NY – Mark W. Turner, 62, a resident of Scriba, passed away unexpectedly on Friday January 24, 2014.
He was born in Syracuse to Francis and Winifred (Winsor) Turner.
He attained the rank of Eagle Scout in high school and graduated from the Erie County Community College.
He retired from Constellation Nuclear at Nine Mile Point as a control room operator.
Mark was an active member of the Port City Faith Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are his wife of 29 years, the former, Eileen White; three children, Rebecca, Matthew and Sarah; his brother, Lee; sister-in-law, Audrey; a nephew, Evan; along with Eileen’s numerous siblings and their families.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Port City Faith Assembly of God.
There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are in care of the Dowdle Funeral Home.
