FULTON, NY – Debra McDougall, 58, of Fulton, passed away Sunday February 3, 2013, after courageously battling renal cancer.

Left behind to mourn her passing and celebrate her life are her husband of 40 years, Harry “Beave;” children, Harry (Amy) and Ryan (Denise); and grandchildren, Steven, Noelle, Logan and Zackary.

She is also survived by her mother, Jean Pontante; siblings, Susan (Pontante) Cook, Norman Noel, Tina Noel, John Noel (Karen); nephew, Joshua Cook; and a large loving extended family.

Awaiting her arrival in Heaven was her beloved brother, Harrison Noel Jr., who predeceased her.

Deb graduated from G. Ray Bodley High School and lived most of her life in Fulton.

She invested her heart and soul into Oswego Industries, where “Doogie” held various positions for more than 20 years.

She enjoyed camping, gardening, bowling and crafts.

Her greatest love, however, was being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Deb touched so many lives, as she treated friends like family and her family as treasure.

Calling hours will be 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, with services at 11 a.m. Friday at Oswego Alliance Church, 371 Thompson Road in Oswego.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Prader-Willi Alliance of New York, PO Box 222, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.

  2. Debbie was a true angel & touched so many lives! She was such a loving person who always was there lend an ear, give a hug,or to even give out a piece of “gum”!No one can ever replace her spot ,she will forever be in our hearts & missed by so many staff & all the consumers who’s lives she’s touched! Til we meet again my friend xoxox!!

  5. I have only seen Deb a few times since graduation from high school, but, in my memories of her, she was always friendly, smiling, and a genuinely good person. Thoughts and prayers to the family for losing such a dynamic person in their lives.

  6. Oh, Amy and Harry…i am so sorry for your precious loss. I had the privilege of meeting her once and she was an amazing, warm, loving, caring, beautiful and funny woman. My prayers are with you and your family.
