Dennis James Malone, 28

HANNIBAL, NY – Dennis James Malone, 28, of Hannibal, passed away Sunday May 25, 2014.

Born in Syracuse, he had lived in the Hannibal area for many years.

Dennis enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2009 and was currently serving as a Contract Administrator Specialist.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, William and Martha Truax; paternal grandmother, Louise Malone; and honorary grandmother, Gladys Cole.

Dennis will be greatly missed and forever loved by his parents, Richard and Candy Truax Malone; three siblings, Corinne (Phil) Slocum, Richard (Jennifer) Malone Jr. and Spencer (Makayla Eggleston) Malone; a nephew, Richard Malone III; his girlfriend, Tina Riggs and her son, Corbyn; his paternal grandfather, Leonard Malone; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul’s Church, 134 E. Fifth St., Oswego.

Burial will be at Hannibal Village Cemetery, Hannibal.

Calling hours will be held 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Dennis may be made to Oswego Elks Lodge #271, 135 W. Fifth St., Oswego, 13126 or Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, 8201 Corporate Dr., Suite 1000, Landover, Md. 20785.
