FULTON, NY – Eleanor Irene Roth, 93, of Fulton, passed away on Friday November 1, 2013.
Born in the town of Volney, she was a life resident of the Fulton area.
Mrs. Roth retired as a reading teacher from the Fulton City School District.
She was an alumnus of Oswego State Teachers College and a member NYS Retired Teachers’ Association.
Mrs. Roth was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish in Fulton and a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Stanley Becker, in 1959, and William Roth, in 1993.
She is survived by: daughters, Sheila Grant of Sterling and Mary Hicks of Pennellville; sons, Willard Becker, James Becker, Paul Becker and Gary Becker all of Fulton; step-children, Cindy Roth, Wayne Roth and David Roth all of Oswego and Barbara Roth of Florida; sister, Barbara Lathrop of Fulton; 38 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be conducted from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday with services at 3 p.m. at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, 2819 County Route 45, Fulton (Volney) with burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Volney.
