Emma Mae Voorhis

FULTON, NY – Emma Mae Voorhis, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday December 27, 2015, at home surrounded by her family.

She was born on December 6, 1935, in Manahawkin, New Jersey, to the late William and Lillian Bolton Paul.

Emma enjoyed crafts, riding motorcycles, snowmobiles and horses.

She was a huge animal lover.

Emma was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Along with her parents she was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth Paul and Ester Bell; and one brother, Buster Paul.

She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her husband of 63 years, Roger; five children, Linda (Randy) Cooper of Florida, Roger (Christine) Voorhis of Tennessee, Janice Middleton of California, Dan (Lisa) Voorhis of New Mexico and Mark (Donna) Voorhis of Hannibal; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Dave Paul of New Jersey; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 14, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St.

A memorial service will follow at 5 p.m.

Burial will be in Mount Adnah Cemetery.
