FULTON, NY – Jesse F. Warner, 74, of Redfield and formerly of Fulton, passed away Wednesday June 20, 2012, after a sudden illness.
He was born August 26, 1937, in Gouverneur to the late, Laural and Jessie Murphy Warner.
He graduated from Fulton High School in 1956 and retired from I.B.E.W. Local 43 after 33 years as an electrician.
He was a member of the Volney Volunteer Fire Corp. for more than 50 years and had served as president.
He was also a member of the Volney Town Board; serving as assessor from 1974 to 1977, councilman from 1978 to 2000 and deputy town supervisor from 1996 to 2000, when he retired.
After the passing of his loving wife of 38 years, Bonnie, and residing in Volney for 60 years, Jesse moved to Redfield.
In 12 years he had made many friends there and in Osceola.
He is predeceased by his wife, Bonita L. Frataccia Warner; and brothers, James, Alden and Harry.
Jesse is survived by his five children, Craig (Tracy) Warner, Todd (Sherri) Warner, Mari Beth (Donald Jr.) Miller and Jennifer (Scott D.) Bennett, all of Fulton and Eric Sr. of Redfield; his companion, Cyndi Jeromenik and her daughters, Stephanie and Jill; siblings, Joseph (Dale) Warner of Palermo, Martin (Neva) Warner of Hannibal and Catherine (Bill) Beebe of Volney; adopted family, Gerry and Stacey Tarbell of Volney; grandchildren, Jessie, James Jr., Jarred, Anthony, Vincent, Michael, Mitchell, Brittany, Ryan, Nicole, Eric Jr., Brandon, Taylor, Zach, Jake, Gabby, Colon, Zach, Amariah, Matthew and Jason; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.

Our thoughts are with you all on your loss. Jess will be greatly missed. I will miss our little gossip chats at the out post during my lunch breaks while fishing & hunting. He would always be there.He was one of the finest men I ever met. God bless the family R.I.P Jess.

There are very few people who would remember this but Jess Warner was a tough, hard-nosed basketball player for FHS from 1953-1956. One hated to and did not look forward to going up against him.
A great guy.
Jess was a wonderful man and neighbor. He will be missed.
My condolences go out to the Warner family. I first met Jesse in 1961-62 as his mother-in-law lived next door to me. Posting pictures on Ancestry.com within the past few weeks, I came across a picture taken in 1962 with Jesse standing on the sidewalk with his mother-in-law standing on her porch. Never got to know Jesse as he married Bonnie and they moved to Volney. My condolences go out to the Warner family.
