FULTON, NY – Leon J. Rogers, 75, a former resident of Fulton, passed away Monday May 12, 2014, in Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda M. Rogers; sister, Norma Hokanson of Mississippi; five sons, Robert A. (Rose), Dale S. (Linda), Dana J. (Marie), Steven M. (Shannon) and James L. (Sandy); daughter, Donna G. Rogers; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will b held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton, with services and burial to follow at Roosevelt Cemetery, State Route 49, Schroeppel.

I worked with Leon for many years at Alcan in Oswego. I met Leon as an apprentice electrician and worked under his supervision and instruction until becoming a journeyman electrician. Leon taught me much of what I know today. I always listened and respected his wisdom and advice. I would like to say we developed a great working friendship. I am sorry to read about his passing. You have my deepest sympathy.
