FULTON, NY – Nicholas J. Ippolito, 66, of Fulton, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse, after an extended illness.

He was born on April 1, 1951, in Fulton, a son to the late Anthony and Isabelle Procopio Ippolito.
Nick was a graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School and a retiree from National Grid in North Syracuse.
He enjoyed playing guitar, NASCAR and a car enthusiast.
Nick was predeceased by his brother, Anthony.
He will be greatly missed and forever loved by his wife of 44 years, Barbara; two children, Nicholas (Jennifer Callen) Ippolito and Kimberly (Steven) Watts both of Fulton; three grandchildren, Cassandra Hartranft, Brayden Ippolito and Logan Watts; two brothers, James (Patti) Ippolito of Arizona and Joe Ippolito of Fulton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. on Monday, September 18, at Holy Trinity Parish, corner of Rochester and South Third streets in Fulton with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
For those wishing, contributions may be made to the B. Thomas Hope Lodge, 1120 S. Goodman St., Rochester, NY 14620, in Nick’s memory.

I met Nick years ago when at Niagara Mohawk. Had the pleasure of getting reaquainted at the hot dog trailer along the river in the summer. A great guy.!!
