FULTON, NY – Nora J. Graves, 70, of Fulton, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017, at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Glouster, Ohio, she also lived in Kentucky and Florida until moving to New York in 1984.
Nora enjoyed camping with her family and attending holiday parades and festivities.
She had previously worked as a nurse’s aide at Pontiac Nursing Home in Oswego.
Nora was a devoted grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Norma Shepard; and a daughter, Mary Smith, in 2015.
Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Duane Graves of Fulton; four children, Dave Smith, John Smith and Joseph Smith all of Fulton and Aaron Smith of Phoenix; three sisters, Mona Shepard and Loretta Lane both of Florida and Carol Steelmon of South Carolina; three stepchildren, Janet Lockwood of Florida, Beth (Gary) Hall of Fulton and Brian Graves of Oswego; several grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 30, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, located on County Route 45 in Volney.
