Samuel J. Imbolli Sr., 82

FULTON, NY – Samuel J. Imbolli Sr., 82, of Granby, passed away on Monday October 28, 2013, at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse.

A native of Oswego, he had resided in the Granby-Fulton area for many years.

He was a graduate of Oswego High School and had attended SUNY at Oswego.

Sam was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish in Fulton.

Sam was a loving, compassionate and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.

He was an extraordinarily special person to all those that had the joy of knowing him and he will be loved and be a special part of us forever.

May a shared moment with him be a cherished memory of a precious gift and may the glow of his love shine within you forever.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Kate French Imbolli; son, Samuel J. (Vicki) Imbolli Jr.; grandchildren, Rowan Samuel Imbolli and Caroline Katherine Imbolli; sisters-in-law, Ann (John) Snell and Joan Richards; brother-in-law, John (Nancy Ann) French and their families.

He was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Rose Tripp Imbolli; and granddaughter, Hope Elizabeth Imbolli.

There are no calling hours at this time.

Memorial services will be at a later date.

The family wishes to thank all who have made a difference in Sam’s life, he appreciated your love and support.

He would ask that you forgive those who may have offended you; ask forgiveness of those you may have offended; then forgive yourself.
