OSWEGO – Carol A. Knopp, 78, of Oswego, passed away on Friday, July 31 at Seneca Manor following a visit with family.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of Edward and Norma (Greene) Hibbert.
Following graduation from Oswego High School, she was employed at Frank G. Wells Clothing store as a secretary/bookkeeper.
Surviving are her two sons Jeffrey (Michelle) Knopp and Douglas (Nikki) Knopp, her brother Edward (Patricia) Hibbert of Smyrna, Delaware, and sister Elaine Johnson of Oswego; two grandchildren Jillian and Chase Knopp and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John Knopp, sister Linda Frank and niece Patricia Semmens.
As per her wishes, there will be no calling hours and burial service will be held at Oswego Town Rural Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 5.
