OSWEGO, NY – Alexander Dedyck, 88, of Oswego, died Tuesday May 24, 2016, at St. Luke Health Facility.
Born in Scriba, NY, he was the son of the late Karl and Mary (Slobe) Dedyck.
He was an U.S. Army veteran serving from 1945-1947 and a recipient of the World War II Victory Medal.
Al worked at Miller Brewery in Fulton until his retirement in 1992.
He was a member of the V.F.W. #5885 and a life member of the Elks #271.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia (Bond) Dedyck; a daughter, Janet (George) Denniston, of Fulton; several nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Kenny and Donna Auyer for their care and support given to the family.
Per Al’s wish, services will be held privately.
Burial will be in Oswego Town Rural Cemetery.
