Edward K. Barlow, 68, of Nestle Dr., Minetto, passed away May 22, 2010 at home.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Hiram Barlow and Viola (Simmons) Barlow.
He was an Army Veteran.
He was employed at Armstrong Corp. of Fulton.
Ed was an avid hunter and fisherman.
After his retirement he began farming as a hobby creating a sanctuary for animals on his daughter’s property.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 268 and a member of the Pheasants Forever Habitats Org.
Surviving besides his mother, are his wife, Carolyn (Greene) Barlow; two daughters, Melissa Barlow and Phil Church and Julia (Mike) Wing, both of Oswego; a son, Kristopher (Christina Uva) Barlow of Saratoga Springs, NY; a sister Lucille (James) Becksted of Oswego; seven grandchildren, Adam Gorman, Nathan Gorman, Hannah Gorman, Grace Wing, Lauren Barlow, Paige Barlow and Ryan Barlow; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Margaret L. Barlow.
Funeral Services will be held 11am. Wednesday at the Faith United Church, Fitzgibbons Dr. Oswego.
Calling hours will be held 3-6p.m. Tuesday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St. Oswego.
