  1. Francine, I just received your phone call today, Jan 20. We were in Los Angeles for the wedding of our grand-daughter.
We are so sorry to hear the news. Frankie was very special to us. We have kept in touch over the years. He came out to Santa Fe in 2004 to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. I remember every Christmas when he would come with his parents to my parents’ house in Summit. He had a great sense of humor and made so many of my Christmas’ merry. I was going to call him soon. I will miss him very much. I was surprised to hear the news since I talked to him before Christmas and he seem to be coping as well as expected with his vision problems.

  2. Francine, I made a typo. The wedding was of our grand-niece, Anna, not grand-daughter. She is Zita’s grand-daughter.
