Mary Catherine Dillabough, 65

Mary Catherine Dillabough, 65, a resident of Oswego, passed away, Tuesday, September 7th, 2010 in Oswego.

Born in Syracuse she was the daughter of the late Emil and Helen (Cullen) Studli.

Mary worked at the Oswego Chocolate Works and Birdseye Factories in Fulton.

She loved Elvis and the only item on her bucket list was that she never got to Graceland.

Mary loved BINGO most of all and enjoyed going with her three biggest Bingo buddies, who have all since passed away.

She never missed a bazaar and always won more than one cake.

Mary was a very giving person, when friends had nothing she would provide for them at Christmas, she never forgot a birthday and always put her grandchildren’s pictures in the paper on their birthdays and birth announcements as well.

She would write to Santa every year for each one of her friends and family when it was going to be in the paper asking for presents. Mary also sent love letters to the paper on Valentines Day, one time she won 500 lottery tickets and a computer at the New York State Fair and she donated the computer to her youngest grandson’s school.

Surviving is a daughter, Catherine Do of Florida; a sister, Janet Yerdon of Oswego and four grandchildren, Akira Do, Nicholas Do, Andrew Johnson and Sydney Do.

Funeral Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
