Norman J. Berlin Jr., 66

OSWEGO, NY – Norman J. Berlin Jr., 66, of Oswego, passed away Thursday May 26, 2016, in Oswego Hospital.

He was born in Oswego and was the son of the late Norman J.  and Catherine Berlin Sr.

Mr. Berlin was the husband of Sonia Lough-Berlin.

He had been employed for many years as a customer service representative for several companies.

He had been a drummer since elementary school and played with many bands until his illness.

He was also active for many years as a set builder for the Oswego Players.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Heidi Berlin Moss of Dayton, Texas; one son, Norman J. Berlin III of Oswego; one brother, Matthew (Marla) Berlin of Oswego; two sisters, Cathy (Dan) Coleman of Baldwinsville and Kelly (Fran) Fetterly of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Berlin was predeceased by two brothers, Kevin and Mark.

A celebration of Mr. Berlin’s life will be held at a later date.

  1. So sorry to hear this news. Great Memories with the all the music we
    played during our earlier years in HS after. Great Memories with our
    NYC band and doing our Album at Atlanta Records.Norm will always
    be remembered as one of the best drummers and musicians to come
    out of Oswego. RIP.
