She attended St. Paul’s Academy and graduated from Catholic High in Oswego in 1962, where she lived most of her life.

She married Nicholas J. Lunette on October 6, 1962, in Oswego.

Together with her husband, she shared infinite amounts of love and happiness throughout their 51 years of marriage.

For many years, she owned and operated La Petite Beauty Salon out of her home in Oswego and was later a crossing guard for the city of Oswego.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Nicholas Lunette, of Castorland; her three daughters, Lisa and Steve Strait, of Glenfield, Christine Vonholtz, of Castorland and Michelle Shambo, of Castorland; her brother, James McGann, of Oswego; her eight grandchildren, Larry VonHoltz Jr., of Oswego, Nicholas Spink, of Watertown, Caroline Spink, of Castorland, Joseph Lunette, of Glenfield, Patti-Ann Strait, of Glenfeild, Melinda Strait, of Adams Center, Deanna Strait, of Oswego and Krystal Strait, of Adams Center; and one great-grandson, Jacob Shear, of Adams Center.

Her brother, Richard McGann, of Oswego; and sister, Mary Dauphinais, of Oswego, predeceased her.

There wasn’t a day that went by where she didn’t have a cup of tea and read the newspaper.

She loved to cook, and travel when she could, but most of all she valued spending time with her friends and family, of which she devoted her life to.

As Patricia makes her journey to rest in eternal peace, pray “may the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, and until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand.”

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s Church, Oswego.

Nelson Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
